Recently I was honoured to write a feature article on the power of dolls for social, cognitive, and emotional development in childhood. I loved writing this article, those who know me or clinicians who've done supervision with me know I always bang on about how important the dolls house and dolls are to those starting to work with kids. This gave the opportunity for me to deep dive into why that is and the value dolls hold in the lives of people across all genders, races, socioeconomic status, and ages.
